Basically, ChatGPT will give you different outputs depending on how you interact with it. Every message you send is read by the system as a “prompt” for behavior from ChatGPT.

Side note: The emergence of chatting with AI has opened up a whole new field that didn’t exist outside of labs and research groups until a few years ago, known as Prompt Engineering. And they make bank.
